IT Support Engineer - Belfast (Hybrid)

We're working with a long-established organisation in the FMCG sector that's looking to hire a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their internal technology team in Belfast.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with end-user support, improving IT processes, and working across a broad range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and networking.
You'll join a friendly, established IT team that supports users across multiple sites in the UK and Ireland. The environment is modern, fast-paced, and collaborative - ideal for someone who wants to develop both technically and professionally.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing 2nd line support to end users across desktop, server, and network systems.
• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, escalating where necessary.
• Managing user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Supporting hardware builds, imaging, patching, and updates.
• Maintaining asset registers and ensuring high levels of system uptime.
• Contributing to IT improvement projects and process automation.
• Occasionally travelling to UK and Ireland sites for installations or fixes.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a 2nd line or desktop support role.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and Active Directory.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routers, switches).
• Experience supporting servers, virtualisation, or backup tools is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
