Business Analyst (nCino)

Please note:

This role requires on-site working in Dublin, 2 - 3 days per week. If you are applying from further afield (e.g. NI or GB) please be aware the on-site requirement will still apply - however in some cases may be reduced to 3 - 4 days per month.

The Role:

• Work with business users to build a clear understanding of current processes, priorities, and challenges, helping to shape the direction of project work.
• Map stakeholders, assess impacts, and ensure effective communication across all parties.
• Contribute to identifying project risks and support the development of appropriate mitigation approaches.
• Take part in discovery and requirement-gathering workshops, highlighting gaps, dependencies, and practical options for addressing them.
• Produce high-quality documentation- such as user stories, process diagrams, and requirement specifications- using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, MS Visio, and others.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams to ensure business needs are fully captured and correctly interpreted in solution design.
• Review test scenarios, assist QA teams during test cycles, and support clients through UAT activities.
• Develop supporting materials including guidance documents, process flows, and operational references.
• Recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce operational friction, and elevate customer experience.

The Person:

• Hands-on nCino experience, ideally within a banking or financial services environment, is essential.
• Solid experience working across the lending life-cycle- from origination to servicing, collateral management, and arrears handling.
• Understanding of both retail lending products (e.g., mortgages, personal loans, vehicle finance, credit cards) and business banking products (e.g., overdrafts, working capital finance, trade products).
• Strong background in business analysis, including workshop facilitation, process modelling, and requirement definition.
• Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and manage differing stakeholder expectations.
• A technical appreciation that enables effective interaction with IT and architecture teams.
• Ideally you will have previous exposure to major banking systems such as FinnOne Neo, Finacle, Flexcube, T24, or TCS BaNCS.

IR35: Inside
Assignment Rate: €425 - €450 per day
Duration: 12 months
Hybrid: This would involve working at our client's Dublin site.
