Business Development Manager

Overview
MCS Group are delighted to be working with a well-established business with a reputation for innovation and excellence to recruit for a Business Development Manager. With multiple branches, the business continues to grow and strengthen its market position. Based in the Greater Belfast area, this is a full-time, permanent role for a Business Development Manager. The focus is on driving sales and maintaining the highest levels of customer service efficiently. The successful Business Development Manager will be able to develop a strategy to identify and grow key customer accounts, using their industry knowledge to build long-term partnerships.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop new customer relationships while expanding existing ones
• Understand key customer needs and requirements
• Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner
• Compile and analyse sales data using the CRM system
• Collect customer feedback and carry out market research

Essential Criteria and Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience of building and timber products
• Previous experience in a sales-focused, customer-facing industry
• Passion and commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Target-driven mindset with strong customer focus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competent IT skills
