Finance Accountant

MCS Group are looking for a Financial Accountant to join a construction company based in Belfast.

The Company:

Our client is a construction company based in the Belfast area and have multiple sites across Northern Ireland and the UK. They are the market leader within the sector - now is a great time to join their Belfast finance function as they look at add a Financial Accountant for their growing team.

The Role:

As the successful Financial Accountant you will report directly to the Finance Manager to Report:

• Prepare financial reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

• Oversight of the AP, AR, Payroll and management accounts.
• Work collaboratively with the wider business to ensure a smooth monthly cycle.

• Utilising various ERP systems, primarily Xero.

The Person:

The successful Financial Accountant will meet the following criteria:

• Qualified or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent;
• Previous experience in Financial Accountant/Reporting role;
• Relevant industry experience;
• Strong communication skills.
