A highly established broker with several offices across the UK is now looking to add a skilled Mortgage Advisor to their Belfast office.

This is a brand new, full-time permanent position with a respected firm, offering excellent set-up for success from day one. There is a big focus on renewals and retentions for this position.

The Company:

This is a UK top 50 broker firm with presence across the UK who have had a strong foothold in Belfast, Co. Down and Co. Armagh for some time. Part of a wider group business, this firm have enjoyed longevity and success and are seeking to build upon a period of financial growth with this new Mortgage Advisor hire.

The Role:

As the successful Mortgage Advisor, you will play a key role in:

• Retain existing mortgage clients by proactively engaging ahead of product expiry dates
• Build and nurture high-value relationships, particularly with long-standing portfolio clients
• Responsibility for servicing own (existing portfolio provided) and sourcing new areas of business
• Completing full analysis of the client's needs
• Undertaking product and market research
• Suitable products considered and research conducted
• Dealing with complex cases, creating reports to accurately articulate the advice provided.
  

The Person:

The successful Mortgage Advisor will meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrable experience in mortgage advisor role - excellent retention / client relationship-building skills
• Full level 3 mortgage qualification (full CeMAP or equivalent)
• Excellent customer management skills
• Excellent relationship management skills
