Senior QA Engineer

MCS Group is looking for a Senior Tester/QA to join an exclusive client working in the renewable energy sector. You will work to ensure that all of their software products are operating at a high standard, and you will also be responsible for developing a robust and managed framework. The candidate will be responsible for other QA duties across the business, working to excellent standards. This company is looking to double its size over the next year, making this is an extremely exciting time to get on board with a forward-thinking and cutting-edge company.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain scalable and manageable automated test scripts for back-end and front-end apps.
• Get heavily involved in company-wide testing.
• Automated testing for UIs and APIs.
• Promote best test practices within the company and across different teams, and ensure high quality work.
• Assist with the release of products.

The Ideal Person

• Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
• Solid experience working with Java or Python.
• Strong experience in test automation frameworks, such as Cypress or Selenium.
• Experience with BDD approach.
• SQL experience.
• Worked with REST APIs.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in renewable energy sector.
• AI testing experience.
• KDB experience.
• Previous experience in Software Development/Engineering.

Salary - £55,000-65,000
