Accounting Technician w/ Payroll Experience FT/PT

MCS Group is proud to be partnering with a highly successful organisation based in Carryduff to recruit an Accounting Technician with Payroll experience on a permanent basis. The company is open to both full-time and part-time working hours for the successful candidate.

Our client is a long-standing organisation operating across multiple sites throughout the UK and ROI. With a strong reputation within their sector and continued growth across the wider group, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive finance team.

The role

As the successful candidate, key responsibilities will include:

• Processing payroll and supporting day-to-day finance operations
• Completing bank reconciliations and supplier payments
• Assisting with VAT returns and general finance administration
• Supporting the wider finance function with ad hoc duties as required

What you need to succeed

• Experienced in payroll
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Flexible and hands-on approach with strong communication skills
• Accounting Technician qualification is desirable, but not essential
