Development Project Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a public sector organisation seeking a Development Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised professional to lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational priorities within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The role:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of development projects from initiation to completion
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
• Monitor progress, provide regular updates, and report to senior stakeholders
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and changes in scope
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
• Plan and deliver project-related events, ensuring smooth execution and stakeholder engagement

The Person

As the successful candidate you will have the following background and experience:

Essential:

• Proven leadership and coordination of cross-functional teams, with experience delivering projects and achieving shared objectives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage effectively at all levels
• Excellent organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to change
• Experience in event delivery and/or funded projects
• Full, clean driving licence with access to a vehicle required
