Estimator

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an Estimator for our client, a leading provider of electrical engineering and technical services delivering complex projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
This role will focus heavily on large-scale, high-spec data centre developments, working within fast-paced environments on technically complex and evolving scopes. You will play a key role in preparing accurate, competitive tenders and supporting commercial decision-making across major projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, tenders, and take-offs
• Review drawings and technical documentation
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing
• Support project teams and commercial decision-making

About You

• Experience in electrical estimating (contracting background preferred)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
• Experience working on large-scale or fast-track projects
• Data centre project experience is advantageous but not essential

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical or engineering qualification (preferred)
• Strong IT skills, including estimating software and Excel
