HR Officer - Immediate start - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to partner with a growing organisation as they look to add an HR Officer to their team initially on an interim basis. This role offers an immediate start.

The role:

As HR Officer, you will support day-to-day HR operations and act as a key point of contact for managers and employees. This is a true generalist role with exposure to a wide range of HR activities.

The main responsibilities:

• Supporting the full employee lifecycle - onboarding through to offboarding.
• Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
• Assisting with disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes.
• Supporting recruitment activities including coordination and onboarding.
• Maintaining HR systems and ensuring data accuracy.
• Supporting policy updates and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
• Assisting with performance management and employee engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience in a HR Generalist / HR Officer role.
• Strong working knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice.
• Confident handling employee relations cases at investigation level.
• Strong recruitment background.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
