Principal Software Engineer (Belfast)

MCS are delighted to be partnering with this innovative tech organisation to build a high-performing engineering function. As they enter the next phase of growth, we're looking for a Principal Software Engineer with strong .NET and AWS/Azure expertise to lead development on key internal systems.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others while architecting and delivering enterprise-scale solutions. You'll work across backend systems, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure using AWS CDK in Python.

Ideal for someone who:

• Has proven .NET backend experience, ideally in a regulated or finance environment

• Can lead technical delivery while maintaining code quality and system security

• Enjoys shaping infrastructure and delivery processes with tools like AWS and CI/CD platforms
