Senior Cloud Engineer (Remote - UK/NI)

MCS Group are delighted to partner exclusively with a rapidly growing, engineering-first FDI project looking for two Senior Cloud Engineers, as they begin building a brand-new Belfast delivery centre. In this remote role (UK), you'll work on high-impact, cutting-edge projects across observability, DevOps modernisation, and ServiceNow platforms, collaborating with global clients and elite engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage configurations using YAML and JSON
• Deliver cloud and on-prem observability solutions (Infrastructure, APM, Logs)
• Create custom log pipelines and grok patterns
• Write automation and integration scripts in Shell, Python, and PowerShell
• Collaborate closely with clients and engineering teams on high-impact projects

The Ideal Person

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
• Linux/Unix and systems administration background (cloud and/or on-prem)
• Experience juggling multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Strong scripting or programming skills (Shell, Python, Go, or PowerShell)

Salary - Up to £110,000, plus bonus and stock options
